Description

The ZT-200L Automatic Vacuum Homogenising Emulsifier and Mixing System provides a complete solution for manufacturers requiring controlled preparation of creams, emulsions, pastes and semi-viscous liquid products. Its combined mixing, high-shear processing, temperature control and vacuum deaeration functions allow multiple production stages to be completed within one coordinated system. At the centre of the machine is a nominal 200-litre jacketed emulsifying vessel. The vessel supports both low-speed circulation and high-speed homogenisation. These two mixing actions perform different but complementary functions. The anchor or scraper agitator provides bulk movement throughout the vessel, while the rotor-stator homogeniser applies concentrated shear to break down droplets, disperse ingredients and refine the texture of the product. This combination is valuable when manufacturing formulations that must remain uniform after production. A poorly dispersed emulsion may separate, contain visible particles or develop an inconsistent texture. Controlled homogenisation helps produce a more refined mixture, although the final droplet or particle size will also depend on the formula, ingredient sequence, temperature, processing time and homogeniser configuration. The vacuum system supports deaeration by reducing the amount of trapped air inside the product. This is important for formulations that foam during agitation or require a dense, smooth appearance. Reduced air content can also improve volumetric filling consistency and help minimise cavities in thick creams and pastes. Separate water-phase and oil-phase vessels provide a practical arrangement for preparing multi-phase formulations. Ingredients can be heated and mixed independently before transfer to the main vessel. This allows operators to follow controlled production procedures and introduce each phase at the appropriate temperature and processing stage. The processing vessel incorporates a jacket for heating and cooling. Electric or steam heating may be selected according to available utilities and required heating performance. Cooling water can be circulated after emulsification to bring the finished product to its discharge, storage or filling temperature. Variable-frequency speed control allows the mixing action to be adapted throughout the batch. Lower speeds may be used during ingredient loading, heating and cooling, while higher shear can be applied during dispersion and emulsification. This flexibility makes the machine suitable for a broad range of formulations with different viscosities and processing requirements. For hygienic production, product-contact components can be manufactured from stainless steel 304 or 316L. The appropriate material should be selected according to the formulation, sanitation chemicals and expected operating conditions. Optional cleaning arrangements, sanitary valves and polished internal surfaces can further support efficient product changeovers. The ZT-200L can be supplied with different control and automation levels. A push-button system provides straightforward manual control, while a programmable touchscreen can provide centralised operation and greater process repeatability. Optional recipe control, load-cell weighing, timed processing stages and data monitoring may be incorporated when required. This machine is intended for bulk product preparation and normally works upstream of storage, pumping, filling, sealing and packaging equipment. Selecting the correct transfer and filling system is particularly important when processing products with high viscosity, suspended particles or shear-sensitive characteristics. Before ordering, the intended formulation, batch size, viscosity, maximum processing temperature, required heating rate, vacuum requirement and preferred cleaning procedure should be evaluated. These details determine the appropriate motor power, vessel construction, homogeniser design and auxiliary equipment.
