Description

The LXL1-15 15 kWh LiFePO₄ Solar Energy Storage Battery is a high-capacity rechargeable battery designed for compatible solar, inverter, backup-power and off-grid energy systems. The battery uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry in a 16S1P cell configuration. It provides a standard voltage of 51.2 V DC, an operating voltage range of 46–58.4 V DC and a battery capacity of 300 Ah. With an installed energy capacity of 15 kWh, the system can store electricity generated by compatible solar panels or supplied from the electrical grid. The stored energy can then be used through a compatible inverter during power interruptions, load shedding or off-grid operation. Communication options include RS232, RS485, CAN and Bluetooth, allowing the battery to exchange operating information with compatible inverters and monitoring systems. The battery offers maximum charging and discharging current configurations of up to 100 A or 150 A. The appropriate current configuration should be selected according to the inverter, system design and installation requirements. A rated cycle life of at least 8,000 cycles at 85% depth of discharge and 25°C supports long-term energy-storage applications. The battery operates across a wide temperature range and can be installed at altitudes below 2,000 metres.
