Description

The G500 self-propelled vacuum glass lifting machine provides a mobile solution for moving and positioning glass sheets during installation, loading and unloading. It combines powered travel with a hydraulic lifting mechanism and a vacuum gripping assembly, allowing operators to bring the material to the installation point and adjust its orientation. With a rated capacity of 500 kg and a specified lifting height of 370 cm, the G500 supports a range of glass handling tasks within its approved operating limits. Its listed forward extension of 61 cm provides additional positioning reach, helping align the glass with the intended fitting location. The machine features electric hydraulic tilting forwards and backwards through a stated 180° range. This movement allows the gripping assembly to change between vertical and horizontal orientations. Manual 360° rotation and a separate manual 90° side rotation provide further adjustment options for aligning sheets during handling and installation. The vacuum suction system incorporates automatic pressure control and dual safety circuits. These features support vacuum monitoring and provide additional protection against a single circuit failure. Secure gripping depends on suitable glass surfaces, correct suction pad placement and operation within the machine’s rated limits. Self-propelled drive reduces the effort required to move the loaded machine across suitable surfaces. The listed travel speeds are 3.5 km/h with a load and 4.5 km/h without a load. Powered lifting operates at 1.3 cm/s when loaded and 1.8 cm/s when unloaded, while the specified unloaded lowering speed is 1.9 cm/s. The G500 uses two 12 V, 120 Ah batteries and is supplied with a specified 24 V, 15 A charger. A 24 V, 1200 W drive motor powers travel, while a 24 V, 2000 W lift motor powers the lifting system. This battery-powered arrangement allows movement without a trailing mains power cable during operation. Different clamp options are available for varying handling requirements. The supplier describes the machine as having a narrow design intended to assist access through doors and into elevators. Actual clearance must be checked against the machine’s operating dimensions and the size of the carried sheet; the supplied measurements are packaging dimensions. For glazing contractors, installers and glass handling teams, the G500 combines transport and positioning functions in one machine. It can support work from initial unloading through to final alignment, reducing the need to transfer glass between separate handling systems.
