Description

The Commercial Stainless-Steel Gas Flat-Top Griddle provides a flexible cooking solution for restaurants, takeaway outlets, catering companies and other professional food-service operations. Its broad, smooth cooking surface is suitable for preparing burgers, steaks, eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, vegetables and numerous other menu items. Gas heating provides rapid cooking-surface recovery during busy service periods. Instead of relying on one central heat source, the reference configuration uses multiple independently controlled burners positioned beneath the griddle plate. This arrangement allows the operator to create different heat zones across the cooking surface. Separate manual knobs allow compatible foods to be cooked at different heat levels. One section can be maintained at a higher setting for searing meat, while another section operates at a lower temperature for eggs, pancakes, vegetables or holding cooked products briefly before service. The wide reference configuration displays four independent burner controls. Burner quantity may vary according to the selected machine width, so the final number of burners, heat input and control zones must be confirmed for the ordered model. The griddle can be supplied in widths of approximately 300, 600, 900, 1,200 or 1,500 mm. All identified configurations have a listed depth of approximately 750 mm and a height of approximately 400 mm. This range allows operators to select a compact single-station model or a broader cooking surface for high-volume production. A choice of approximately 8 mm, 10 mm or 12 mm griddle-plate thickness is available. Thicker plates generally provide greater heat retention and temperature stability but require more time and gas to reach operating temperature. The appropriate plate should be selected according to service volume, menu and recovery requirements. The smooth polished cooking surface provides direct contact between the food and heated plate. This supports even browning, efficient searing and convenient movement of products using commercial spatulas or scrapers. Welded rear and side splash guards help contain oil, grease and food residue within the cooking area. These guards reduce splashing onto surrounding equipment and walls while making it easier to direct cooking residue towards the grease-collection point. A removable grease drawer is positioned beneath the front section of the griddle. Excess oil and food residue can be scraped towards the drainage opening and collected in the drawer. The tray can then be removed for emptying and cleaning after the machine has cooled. Ventilation openings across the front panel support airflow around the burner compartment. These openings must remain unobstructed during operation. The griddle should be installed beneath a suitable commercial extraction system where required by the cooking process and applicable regulations. The main body is manufactured from stainless steel, with SS201 and SS304 configurations listed as available material options. The selected steel grade should be confirmed before ordering, especially where enhanced corrosion resistance or a particular food-service specification is required. Short adjustable feet support stable countertop placement and provide clearance beneath the appliance. The unit should be installed on a strong, level and heat-resistant commercial surface capable of supporting the selected griddle size and operating load. The gas type is not specified in the identified product information. Burner injectors, operating pressure, regulator, hose or fixed connection must therefore be configured for the intended gas supply before production. Components intended for one gas type must not be connected to another gas supply without approved conversion and testing. The total burner output and gas-consumption figures are not stated. These values should be obtained for the selected width because larger models generally require additional burners and a higher total gas supply capacity. The ignition method is also configuration-dependent. Operators should confirm whether the ordered griddle uses piezoelectric ignition, electronic ignition, pilot flames or manual lighting. Installation and commissioning should always be completed by a qualified gas technician. This appliance requires manual cooking control. It does not automatically detect food, regulate surface temperature through digital programmes, turn products or stop cooking when food is ready. Operators remain responsible for preheating, burner adjustment, food handling and confirmation of safe final cooking temperatures. Before first use, the griddle plate should be cleaned and prepared according to the supplied instructions. Where seasoning is required, a suitable process should be followed to condition the surface and improve normal cooking performance. After service, food residue should be removed using tools suitable for the plate material. The grease drawer must be emptied regularly, and the cooking surface, splash guards and stainless-steel exterior should be cleaned using appropriate non-abrasive products. Water must not be poured onto an extremely hot griddle plate because rapid temperature changes may damage or distort the cooking surface. Gas controls, ignition components and burner openings must not be flooded during cleaning. With multiple width options, selectable plate thicknesses, independently controlled burners and an integrated grease-management system, this commercial gas griddle can be configured for operations ranging from compact takeaway stations to high-output restaurant cooking lines.
