Description

The Commercial Automatic Rotating Gas Shawarma Grill provides a practical solution for restaurants, takeaway outlets and catering operations that prepare vertically roasted meat throughout the day. The machine uses direct radiant heat from gas burners positioned behind the rotating meat stack. As the spit turns, the outside surface of the meat is exposed progressively to the heat, allowing it to cook and brown before being sliced for serving. A central vertical skewer supports prepared layers of chicken, beef, lamb or other suitable meat. The meat is stacked around the skewer and secured before cooking begins. Correct and balanced loading is important for smooth rotation and consistent heat exposure. The spit is rotated automatically by an electric motor. Continuous rotation reduces the need for manual turning and helps expose all sides of the meat stack to the burners. This supports more uniform browning and helps prevent one side from remaining stationary in the highest-heat area. The gas burners can be controlled independently. This allows the operator to increase, reduce or switch off heat in individual zones according to the shape and size of the meat stack. For example, a taller stack may require all burners during the main cooking period, while a smaller or partially used stack may only require selected burners. Independent heat control can therefore help reduce unnecessary gas consumption. Two-, three- and four-burner configurations are available. The correct model should be selected according to expected customer volume, desired meat capacity, available counter space and gas-supply capacity. The commercial stainless steel body provides durability and corrosion resistance for demanding kitchen environments. Smooth surfaces assist with routine cleaning, while the open-front design gives the operator access to the meat for inspection, temperature checking and slicing. A removable tray beneath the spit collects drippings and small pieces of food. This helps keep the working area cleaner and simplifies end-of-shift maintenance. The tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent excessive grease accumulation. The machine can be positioned on a suitable heat-resistant countertop or compatible equipment stand. It must be installed beneath an appropriate commercial extraction system because cooking meat produces heat, vapour, grease and smoke. Although gas provides the main cooking heat, an electrical connection is generally required to operate the rotation motor. The voltage and plug configuration must be confirmed before ordering. The grill is suitable for preparing marinated chicken, lamb, beef and mixed meat stacks. The outer cooked layer can be shaved progressively while the remaining meat continues to rotate and cook. Only fully cooked portions should be served. Operators must use a suitable food thermometer and follow an approved cooking procedure because surface colour alone does not confirm that the meat has reached a safe internal temperature. The machine does not automatically slice, portion or serve the meat. The automatic function refers primarily to the motorised rotation of the spit. Cutting is normally completed manually with a suitable knife or an optional electric kebab slicer.
