Description

The Commercial Automatic Candy and Sugar Pulling Machine is designed for confectionery businesses that need to process cooked sugar masses efficiently and consistently. Its automated pulling action repeatedly stretches, folds and combines the product, replacing the physically demanding process of pulling hot candy by hand. During pulling, air is incorporated into the sugar mass. This aeration gradually changes the product’s appearance from transparent or dark to a lighter, more opaque colour while reducing its density and modifying its texture. The machine does not chemically bleach the candy; the whitening effect is created mechanically through repeated stretching and aeration. The process can help produce a smoother, lighter and more uniform finished candy mass. It is suitable for compatible products such as pulled sugar candy, ginger candy, caramel candy, taffy-style products, aerated confectionery and selected peanut or sesame crisp-candy recipes. A listed batch capacity of approximately 5–20 kg allows the machine to accommodate small recipe trials as well as larger commercial production batches. The correct loading quantity depends on the recipe, sugar temperature, moisture content, viscosity and required degree of aeration. Loads must remain within the operating clearance of the pulling mechanism. The machine uses rotating pulling arms to repeatedly extend and fold the prepared candy mass. Once the product is positioned correctly, the motor drives the pulling cycle automatically. Ingredient preparation, loading, cycle observation, stopping and product removal remain manual operations. A 1.5 kW electric motor provides the mechanical force required for pulling dense confectionery masses. The reference configuration may be supplied for either a 110 V or 220 V electrical system. The required voltage, frequency, plug type and connection method must be confirmed before production. The electrical system primarily powers the pulling mechanism. A separate sugar-cooking system is not confirmed as part of the machine. Syrup, caramel or candy mass must therefore be cooked using suitable confectionery equipment before it is transferred to the puller at the correct processing temperature. Product temperature is critical. Candy that is too hot may be excessively soft, sticky and difficult to control, while material that has cooled too far may become too stiff for safe loading or place unnecessary strain on the motor and pulling arms. Operators should establish a validated loading-temperature range for each recipe. The machine can also be used to distribute compatible colours, flavours and other ingredients through a prepared candy mass. These ingredients should be suitable for the selected recipe and introduced according to an established production procedure. The pulling cycle should be monitored because processing time affects the finished result. Insufficient pulling may produce limited aeration and an uneven appearance, while excessive pulling can change the texture, temperature and workability of the product. The correct cycle must be determined through controlled recipe trials. The reference machine measures approximately 900 × 850 × 1,100 mm and has a listed net weight of approximately 150 kg. Its substantial construction helps provide stability during the repeated movement of the pulling assembly. It should be installed on a strong, level surface with sufficient clearance for loading, unloading, cleaning and maintenance. Although described as a small machine, it is a floor-standing commercial unit rather than portable countertop equipment. Moving it should be completed using appropriate material-handling equipment and safe lifting procedures. The pulling arms and accessible food-contact surfaces should be cleaned after every production session. Hardened sugar residue can interfere with movement, create hygiene concerns and make later cleaning more difficult. Cleaning should begin once the machine has been switched off, electrically isolated and allowed to reach a safe handling temperature. Water must not be sprayed directly into the motor, electrical controls, drive components or bearings. Cleaning methods should follow the operating manual and use products suitable for food-processing equipment. The moving pulling assembly presents trapping and entanglement hazards. Operators must keep hands, clothing, utensils and cleaning materials away from the mechanism while it is running. The machine must be stopped and isolated before adjusting the candy, clearing an obstruction or removing the finished batch. The availability of protective guards, emergency-stop controls and safety interlocks is not clearly confirmed in the identified specification. These features should be verified before purchase, particularly where the machine will be used in a commercial production facility. With automatic mechanical pulling, a broad batch range and a compact industrial footprint, this machine can help confectionery producers reduce manual labour, standardise pulling cycles and improve consistency between batches.
