The Agricultural Travelling Hose Reel Irrigator is designed to provide flexible and efficient irrigation for agricultural fields where permanent irrigation infrastructure may not be practical or economical. The system combines a hose reel with a travelling sprinkler unit that moves progressively across the irrigation area while distributing water over the crop. This allows a relatively large section of farmland to be irrigated from a single machine position. During operation, the irrigation hose is extended across the field and connected to the travelling sprinkler. Water pressure powers the irrigation process while the sprinkler distributes water across the surrounding area. The travelling mechanism gradually returns towards the hose reel, allowing irrigation to take place continuously along the selected route. One of the major advantages of this type of irrigation system is its mobility. After completing one irrigation section, the machine can be repositioned to another part of the farm, allowing one system to service multiple fields or growing areas. The sprinkler provides broad water coverage, making the system suitable for crops requiring overhead irrigation.
