Description

The 607A-C Automatic Poultry Farm Climate Controller provides centralized control of the main environmental systems used inside modern poultry houses. Temperature, humidity and ventilation have a direct influence on bird comfort and production conditions. Instead of manually switching fans, cooling systems and heaters on and off, the controller automatically operates connected equipment according to programmed environmental settings. The controller can receive information from up to five temperature sensors positioned throughout the poultry house. It calculates and displays the average temperature while also allowing individual sensor readings to be checked. An optional humidity sensor can also be connected, enabling humidity levels to influence ventilation and cooling operation. The ventilation system provides control for five separate fan groups. Each fan stage can be programmed to activate at a different temperature offset above the required house temperature. The first fan group can operate as the minimum ventilation group. During minimum ventilation, the fan operates according to programmable ON and OFF cycle times to maintain fresh-air exchange even when additional cooling is not required. As the poultry-house temperature increases, additional fan groups are automatically activated in stages. A dedicated heating output allows compatible heating equipment to operate when the house temperature drops below the programmed target. The controller also incorporates dedicated cooling control. Cooling equipment can be programmed to operate according to either a fixed temperature or an offset above the target house temperature. Cooling ON and OFF periods can be individually programmed. When an optional humidity sensor is connected, excessive humidity can automatically stop the cooling system. The unit incorporates high- and low-temperature alarm functions to provide warning when environmental conditions move outside programmed limits. Additional monitoring features allow compatible water meters and feed-auger systems to be connected so that water and feed consumption information can be monitored. The controller also provides communication capability for integration with compatible remote-management equipment. Its combination of environmental monitoring, staged ventilation, heating, cooling and alarm functions makes the 607A-C suitable for automated poultry houses where stable environmental conditions are essential.
