Description

The 300m³/h Stainless Steel Rotary Drum Filtration System is designed for large-scale water circulation and mechanical filtration applications where substantial volumes of water need to be continuously cleaned. The system uses a rotating stainless-steel drum fitted with fine filtration screening. Water containing suspended solids enters the filtration chamber and passes through the drum screen. Fine waste particles, uneaten feed, organic debris and other suspended material larger than the filtration openings are retained on the screen while filtered water passes through. The system is capable of processing approximately 300 cubic metres of water per hour, making it suitable for commercial aquaculture operations, high-density fish farming, shrimp production, recirculating aquaculture systems and large water-treatment installations. The filtration system is capable of mechanically removing particles larger than approximately 74 microns, providing fine pre-filtration before water is transferred to biological filtration, oxygenation or other water-treatment processes. As debris accumulates on the drum screen, the automatic cleaning mechanism removes collected solids and allows the filtration surface to continue operating efficiently. This significantly reduces the amount of manual screen cleaning normally required in conventional filtration systems. The system is manufactured using stainless steel, with SS304 and SS316L material configurations available. Stainless-steel construction provides excellent durability and corrosion resistance for continuous operation in demanding water-treatment environments. The rotary drum design provides continuous filtration while maintaining relatively low operating requirements. This makes the machine particularly suitable for installations that require reliable 24-hour water circulation and treatment. In aquaculture systems, effective mechanical filtration is important because accumulated solid waste can negatively affect water quality. Removing suspended solids before they break down helps reduce the organic load placed on downstream biological filtration systems.
