Description
The 10-ton crawler spider crane provides a mobile lifting solution for projects where equipment access, positioning and available working space influence crane selection. Its folding outrigger arrangement and retractable boom allow the machine to travel in a compact configuration before being set up at the lifting position. The crane has a nominal maximum lifting capacity of 10 tonnes. Actual permitted capacity varies with the working radius, boom extension, boom angle and outrigger configuration. The supplied lifting chart illustrates this relationship: as the load moves farther from the crane, the allowable lifting capacity decreases. Each lift must therefore be planned using the applicable load chart for the machine’s setup. A telescopic boom provides adjustable reach for positioning loads at different heights and distances. The supplier describes the boom as being constructed from high-strength manganese steel. This boom arrangement allows the crane to serve a range of lifting positions without requiring a fixed-length structure. The crawler chassis supports movement around suitable work areas. In its travelling configuration, the crane measures approximately 590 cm long, 180 cm wide and 230 cm high, according to the supplied drawing. These dimensions provide a useful reference when assessing access routes, transport arrangements and storage space. Hydraulic outriggers extend from the crane body to establish the support arrangement for lifting. The drawings show different outrigger positions, allowing the footprint to be assessed against the available working area. Ground conditions and the permitted outrigger setup remain essential factors in determining a suitable lifting position. The crane’s illustrated components include a winch, hook, operating panel and travelling motor. The specification sheet also identifies 360° rotation, allowing the boom to be directed around the crane within the machine’s operating limits. An optional remote control can be added to provide an alternative control arrangement. For contractors and installation teams, this spider crane offers a combination of tracked travel, telescopic reach and deployable support legs. It can be considered for lifting machinery, construction components and other compatible loads where the required lift falls within the approved load chart.
